noiz out and about...

so...
i finally go out to see a band.
(i am a horrible audience member.)

and as my luck would have it...........
BOTH Gang of Four and Acid Mothers Temple are playing the same damn night!!!!!!!!!

ARGH!!!!

well of course i went to Gang of Four.
they just reunited after a 20 year hiatus.

Gang of Four were AMAZING.
in awesome form and noiz noiz noiz.
for a band that has influenced so many but stayed under the radar of most it was just so cool to see them do what they do best.
it was also weird hearing things that DIRECTLY influenced everyone from R.E.M. to the Revolting Cocks.

Gang of Four is a band to aspire too.

now the big drag.........
after Gang of Four finished i raced over to Acid Mothers Temple just to get there and watch them breakdown their gear.
ACK!!!!!!!!!
so bummed..............
i did talk to Kawabata though which is always nice.

those of you that did not go see Gang of Four should go and be shot.
